This was my 6th year doing studio Valentine mini sessions, and somehow they just keep getting more fun.

I love Valentine’s Day.
I love pink (obviously).
I love chocolate.
And I love having an excuse to design something completely over-the-top and sweet.

This was my sixth year doing Valentine mini sessions, and somehow they just keep getting more fun.

This year’s set was inspired by a box of chocolates — and yes, I made the whole thing from scratch. I painted the balloons, built the crepe paper wrappers, taped everything a hundred times, and crossed my fingers it would come together.

It did. And it photographed exactly how I imagined — playful, sweet, and still soft enough to feel timeless.

I’m Esther Ziegler, an award-winning photographer with over a decade of professional experience. I’ve been working full-time in photography since 2010 and operating my business formally since 2012.

I photographed more than 300 weddings earlier in my career before shifting my focus in 2019 to serving growing families. Today, I specialize in maternity, newborn, and childhood photography.

I run a full-service studio in southwest Missouri and work with families throughout the Springfield area.
