A Motherhood Event in Springfield, Missouri

This session holds a special place for me.

These images were created nearly six years ago, in the spring of 2020, as the promotional shoot for what would have been my very first motherhood event. While the gathering itself sadly never came to be because of the covid shutdown, the heart behind it never left.

Fresh florals were the inspiration from the very beginning — soft, natural, and full of life — and they continue to shape the way I dream up my Annual motherhood events today.

The florals for this shoot were designed by He Loves Me Flowers by Charity Bennitt, and the mama in front of the camera was Charity herself, alongside her sweet boys. It felt fitting then, and still does now.

Even though this particular event didn’t unfold the way I imagined, it marked the beginning of something lasting. Since then, I’ve hosted motherhood events every year, each one inspired by that same original vision — celebrating mothers in a way that feels beautiful, intentional, and deeply meaningful.

As I look ahead to this year’s motherhood event, I’m filled with excitement to create again, to dream again, and to continue honoring motherhood in all its seasons.

Don’t blink,
